Universal Arabic Subtitles

How it works

This addon searches SubSource, SubDL and OpenSubtitles with your own API keys and returns the best-matching Arabic subtitles, including anime episodes hidden in "Extras" sections. Keys are encrypted into your personal install link and never stored on the server.

You are responsible for using your own accounts and complying with each provider's terms of service.

Subtitle providers

Enable at least one provider and paste its API key.

SubSource Get an API key

Best Arabic coverage, including anime Extras sections. Create a key from your SubSource profile page.

SubDL Get an API key

Free API key from your SubDL panel. Note: free-tier downloads are limited per server IP per day.

OpenSubtitles Get an API key

Register an API consumer, then optionally add your username and password so downloads use your own daily quota instead of a shared one.

Preferences

Subtitle languages, in order of preference

Subtitle format

Prefer SRT — pick a native SRT when one exists; keeps original ASS otherwise. Safe default for TVs and phones. Original ASS/SSA — keeps anime styling, positioning and fonts. Renders fully only where ASS support is enabled (Stremio desktop/web setting). Convert to SRT — maximum compatibility. Timing and text are preserved; styling, positioning and karaoke effects are lost.
